Hearing Care

We provide a full range of hearing services for your hearing health.

Services We Offer:

Diagnostic audiometric testing: We provide diagnostic hearing testing to determine the degree of hearing loss, which ear is involved and what type of hearing loss is present. These are two possible hearing loss types: conductive or sensorineural. Conductive hearing losses represent a problem with the conduction of sound through the different structures of the ear and are often times medically correctable. Sensorineural hearing loss is also called “nerve loss”, is usually permanent and treated by amplifying the ear.

Balance testing: We provide testing of the balance system for patients that experience symptoms of vertigo, imbalance, lightheadedness or disequilibrium. We also provide treatment options for treatable conditions.

Hearing aid dispensing and fitting: Our philosophy is to provide our patients with the best hearing instruments available based on several factors including lifestyle, the severity of the hearing loss, the impact of the hearing loss on communication, as well as monetary considerations. We strive to find the perfect match to help you hear well again.

Custom earmolds: Earmolds are used in conjunction with behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aids. They are also used as a barrier when swimming or any time the ear canal needs to stay dry. A third application is to prevent exposure to loud noise. Lastly, earmolds can be constructed for musicians and to be used with media devices such as MP3 players.

Assistive listening devices (ALD): Sometimes hearing aids are not enough. ALDs can be used to provide enhanced listening in classroom settings, with the TV and on the telephone. We not only provide these devices but we provide extensive counseling on the application and use.
